New addition to the War and Peace team!

We’re delighted to welcome Bill Fowler to our team here in deepest Kent. Bill was formerly Events Director of Chatham Dockyard and has been involved in notable events including The South East Regional Veterans Day, The Lord Lieutenant’s TA100 Celebrations and Salute to the 40s. He also led the successful bid for a National Armed Forces Day.

Bill will be working for The War and Peace Revival with several responsibilities:

Author invitations

We always invited authors showcasing their books to the War and Peace Show and our new War and Peace Revival will be no different. Bill has taken over working with authors and publishing houses to increase our author presence, bringing a wider spectrum of books into the new show.

Veterans

Bill will work with the veterans associations in promoting War and Peace, and act as their liaison while at the show. Our invited veterans will be based in our exciting new V Marquee – so drop by to say hello and take a few minutes to listen to their incredible stories!

Parade and Drumhead Service

At our last War and Peace Show, Bill organised the Falklands Commemoration Drumhead service and march, so this year he will continue with this role and organise our service and march for the veterans of National Service and the Korean war. All other veterans of conflict are most welcome to join in this march of commemoration.

UK Armed Forces Liaison

Due to his vast experience working with our UK Armed Forces, Bill will act as their liaison, increasing their involvement in the War and Peace Revival.
